2020 has had me living in my lounge wear and workout clothes non-stop! Quarantine times also inspired me to get out and get moving more so I started taking daily walks and with this hot humid heat in Indy, I quickly realized I needed several good workout tanks. The early part of summer I was on a hunt for the best workout tanks I could find and I’m happy to report I found several great options for y’all and I’m sharing them all here! This post features a few different styles and price points so hopefully there is something for everyone!
Let’s start with my #1 favorite. These amazon tanks are so awesome and affordable! They come in a 4 pack of different colors ranging from your fan favorite neutrals to bright colors like sage and pale pink. I ordered the pack with black, grey, white, and sage green and have been rocking all the colors religiously! The fabric is more of a cotton/T-shirt style fabric rather than the spandex type material in the other tanks below, but it is great for quick workouts or walking outside. I love the cropped length of these tanks because they pair perfectly with my leggings! I also love the racer back style because it works well with my sports bras! I wear my true size and the fit is perfect!
Next up is this little cropped cutie! I love the different style of this tank because it has thin straps like a cami rather than the thicker racer back straps. It is another cropped fit that is very flattering on and it comes in a ton of colors! I ordered multiple colors and am so glad I did! The sizing on this tank in particular is a little tricky. I ordered a size small and a size medium to compare and personally, I liked the small fit best. However, I have multiple friends who sized up so it really is just your preference! The material is close to a spandex type feel and I liked the way the small seemingly sucked me in!
This tank is one of my faves ever! It is a fitted tank with a built-in bra and high cut neckline. It is so dang flattering on! I love the cropped length on this tank as well. It is a higher price point than the two tanks listed above, but with that said it is much higher quality! I really do love this style and think it’s the perfect tank for working out in! I ordered it in black and white, but find myself reaching for the black one most often! I also appreciate the sizes offered are based on bra size and shirt size. So there is an option for A-C Small and D-DD small. I typically wear a 32D or 30DD and ordered the D-DD small and it was a perfect fit!
Last but not least, this tank is a little different than the others because it is a loose fitting cropped tank! This is perfect for running or HIIT workouts because of the lightweight wicking material. I love the fit of this tank and think it pairs perfectly with my shorts so I can rock this on my walks outside in the summer heat. It’s also cute with my leggings too, so really you cant go wrong with this tank! Again, it is a higher price point, but the quality is so good! I am wearing a size 4 in this cropped tank and love the fit, but if you are in between sizes, I recommend sizing up!
