Not too long ago, I was part of an amazing women who got together to show all of our followers how we each style a plain white tee. It was so fun to see all the different outfit inspo and adorable styles these women shared. I loved it because it gave so many new twists on an item that most of us already own.
I have a few plain white tees and sometimes I can get in a rut of styling the tee the same old way every single time I reach for it. I loved being a part of this group because it encouraged me to get creative and switch it up. So below are the three ways I styled my plain white tee.
- Colored Denim and Sneakers
- I loved this casual look! I went with the olive distressed denim just to switch it up a bit. I love a plain white tee with classic denim don’t get me wrong, but sometimes it’s fun to add in a pop of color. I then added on my favorite leopard P448 sneakers and tied a denim jacket around my waist for an added flare (and because I always get cold!). This look can carry you through different seasons too just by swapping out or adding in jackets and coats!
- Knotted over a Dress
- Another fave! I loved dressing this tee up by pairing it with this dress. This Leith dress is a classic. I have it in so many colors, but I got in a rut with these dresses too just styling them the same way over and over. By throwing this tee on over top the dress and knotting it, it gives this dress a whole new look! I also love where the knot hits me on the waist line. I think it’s great because you can play with it to make sure it hits you at the most flattering point!
- Denim Shorts and a Kimono
- Now this one is my JAM!! I just love a good kimono- floral, animal print, solids, you name it. I think kimonos are so fun and a great addition to any look. This plain white tee paired with denim shorts and a kimono over top is a classsssssic Ella style and I’m not mad about it!
